I have been way behind in getting photo shoots on the blog so I am going to try to catch up.

I had so much fun taking pictures of this family... We have history together... but we haven't seen each other in a long time... We went downtown to do this photo shoot and it was more fun than I even thought it would be.

It was a cold day.... but no one seemed to care!

The only downside to having a dog that does not shed is that they have to be clipped. Today was the day to get started.. I always start with her feet.... I know when she starts sliding all over the hard wood floors it is time to cut the hair from between her toes... Sadie is so wonderful, she just lays there and lets me do what I have to do... total trust...

The sock I can't seem to finish... This sock was supposed to be a christmas present for my aunt.. but I am still working on it... So today my friend Dianne asked me to go over to her house to knit... It got me out of the house so I would stop watching CNN. The earthquake is consuming me... I feel so bad for the people... heart is breaking... So I am knitting...

The Tooth

Yesterday morning Griffin lost his first tooth... well not really his first tooth. The first tooth he lost was actually two years ago. He chipped his front tooth when he was 18 months old... and it turned grey. Two years ago it got infected and the dentist had to pull it... at the time I had no idea it would be two years before he would loose the second tooth.

About a month ago he told me his bottom tooth was loose. So he has been playing with it constantly...the last week I have been trying hard for him to let me pull it. So night before last he let me try and I really thought I was going to just barely pull it for it to come out... nope just made it bleed a lot and made him cry... I felt bad...

But yesterday morning... he woke up and touched it with his tongue and out it comes.. and it didn't even hurt... he was pretty excited!!

The Wedding of Anna and Brent

Finally after all the holiday happenings and having the kids at home I have finally finished the wedding photos.... It was a small Christmas themed wedding at night.... Will and I had a really good time photographing the Wedding and reconnecting with old friends and my long ago students... Anna and all of her sister used to be my students when I was an art teacher... (years ago)

My 365 image today is a stack of the blueberry pancakes I made this morning.. The blueberries are the last of the Michigan blueberries Camille and I picked last summer.... They were pretty good, if I do say so myself!
