Streams a plenty

As I did my walk today, I photographed water.   There is nothing better than hearing the sound of water trickling over rocks.   This place is full of streams and throughout the day you will find kids sitting beside, standing in and playing in the different streams that run through camp. 

 You just haven't lived until you have stood in a cold stream with water running over your feet.

Stairs

Today while walking around I decided to photograph the many sets of stairs that are around camp. We are in the mountains so there are lots of hills.  To make life a little easier there are stairs that help us get up and down those big hills. 

There are small stairs that take us up small hills...

 Lots of stairs to take us up big hills...

There are stairs that help us take a short cut...

 Then there are the scary stairs, if you can get down them without falling, you know you have really accomplished something...

 If you can make it down then you know you can make it back up...

I seem to have climbed a lot of those scary stairs and each time I think it does get easier.

Today's Walk

took me to the barn.  I LOVE horses!  So going to the barn to have a little chat with the horses makes me very happy.... and sometimes I will make the horse feel so happy it will laugh out loud...

This horse and I got real close...now we are big buds!

The Front Porch

While I am in the mountains I am going to take a photo a day.. this is actually yesterday's photo .

The front porch is a great place to enjoy the breeze and take a break from all the craziness at camp... quiet, cool and relaxing.

Hanging out to Dry

Walking around camp last night.  I love seeing all the bathing suits and towels hanging outside the cabins to dry.  So summer!!!
