Well the packages are wrapped, I baked two loafs of Pumpkin bread ( 2 more to go) the house is cleaned and I finally got my invitation to Ravelry (woo hoo)

So Terry and I went to see Leon Russell. He played a small concert last night.   Very Cool!!!!

It was a fun show.   I got to dance a little which is something I haven't  done in a while.

Not enough!!   Have I finished all the shopping?  No...  Have I baked all the cookies?  No...   

One thing that Camille and I did, was buy a share of a Llama.  I used to buy a whole Llama or a flock of geese or a sheep through LFLT, but this year I told Camille if she put in $10 that I would put in $10  and we could buy a share of a Llama... 

What am I talking about?    I am talking about  Heifer International.   I have been a big supported of this non profit for many years.    You buy an animal for a poor family and Heifer international teaches the family how to use the animal for food or profit.    I like to buy an animal that they can use and not eat but that is just me.  :)    Go check them out it is a good thing!

The kids and I did make a gingerbread house.   It was one of those kits which makes it much easier..   

Camille and I had a hard time icing the roof before the icing got too hard.

I made my Christmas cards.  Although I could not print them so I sent a digital version out.   And here it is...

I am peeking out from the covers...  after the big move my body made it very clear that it had had ENOUGH!   So it made me slow down whether I wanted to or not.   It got sick.    I am still feeling pretty rotten and my voice sounds like Darth Vader...  "Luke, I am your Father."   

But I got up enough energy to post the winner.   I know you have all been checking the blog every 30 minutes or so to see if it was you..   I know , I know,   I am sorry that I made you wait.   

OK.   Now I had a very hard time with this.  I was all set to put the names in this really cool program that I found that does a random drawings, so I would not cheat and subconsciously pick a friend or favorite name or something.   But when Misty got on here and said that she was adopting a baby from china and that she really wanted the outfit....  it sort of put a kink in my plan...  I mean how could I take a chance and have it pick a different name....   

SO   I am just going to give the china outfit to Misty.    

Sorry anyone that left a comment and really wanted it...   If someone disagrees let me know..  But I did go ahead and do the drawing for the candle holder...   if they really want the candle holder....   But here it is ...  The winner is.......

So we are supposed to be moved by tomorrow...  I moved another load today.    But when I look around there is still so much more to move..   The stuff won't go away...   At this point I wish I could just snap my fingers and make the rest of the mess just go away...   Bye bye...  Remember the show Bewitched?    I used to wish I could wiggle my nose and make magic.     I would even practice..  O.K.   raise your hand if you did the same thing as a kid...    Come on you know you did..

11 more days till Christmas..  Oh man I shouldn't have even thought about that!

With all the moving I am doing right now I am finding it very hard to get into the Christmas Spirit.   I usually  will get out and go shopping or drive around at night to see Christmas lights. This year I haven't done any of these.     We don't even have a tree up at this house, it is at my Aunt's house. I am looking forward to getting moved by this weekend so we will have a tree to look at everyday.

So I want to know what you do to get into the Christmas Spirit.
