From the mouth of...
GRIFFIN!
I was driving Camille and Griffin to school this morning and Griffin asked me why so many people have the same car as mine.
I said, " I guess I have a great car and other people think so too."
"Mommy, I like your car"
"I like my car too"
After a minute Griffin said "I like Daddy's car too"
Going along I said " I also like Daddy's car"
Then he said, " I think Daddy's car smells good."
Then Camille Chimed in and said, "I don't think Daddy's car smells good."
"Well I do , and Daddy does too. We are boys and boys like things that smell yucky!"
Camille and I giggled. When I called Brian to tell him what Griffin said, Brian was like, "Great! My car stinks"

American Idol
Do you watch? I do. In fact the whole family does. I am still amazed that Sanjaya is still there. BUT as long as young tweens are voting he will stay in. Did you see the girl crying her eyes out when he was singing? Well then they showed her crying at others songs. Give that girl some antidepressants or something.
But Melinda is it. She can sing!!! So who will leave this week?? Brian and Camille have a $5 bet that Phil is gone. Me, I think Gina will go. Tomorrow we will see......
Visiting Family
This weekend I took the kids to visit my Dad, step Mom , step sister and her family. My step sister, Missy, only lives 2 hours away so it was a nice little drive for the kids and me. She has two beautiful girls same age as my kids. Camille and Griffin had a great time playing with the cousins and they got to have a slumber party. They actually went to bed quite easily for 4 young, active kids all sleeping in the same room.
I do wish that we can see each other more often and get our kids together more. They really did have fun and it was nice spending an evening with my Dad and Fran.
Is it Spring?!
Well today it was!! What a great day the last few days have been. Blue skies, warm, the birds singing and every once in a while you get a scent of a flower that is blooming. Everything feels different on days like that. I just love that feeling. Spring is my favorite season no doubt!
This is the time everything starts fresh. My gardens are just waiting for the new plants to start growing, the birds are building their nests, I see little bugs starting to come out. All of this really excites me!
Today I got to be outside and play with horses.
I have reconnected with a friend that has a beautiful farm and she didn't mind one bit for me to come over and groom two of her horses. I miss being with horses and going over there today gave me a huge spirit lift. There is something about being around these gentle giants that make me so happy. I love everything about horses. I even love how they smell. They have the greatest personality as long and they don't step on my toes. ;) I am hoping that I will be able to get Camille as interested in horses as I was as a kid. When I was her age I was all about horses. I had a hundred horse models, horse posters, and anything else that had to do with horses. Camille is not as into them as I was but she still can't wait to learn to ride. And I hope I will be able to do that. I will start taking her to play with the horses soon.
So Spring is a fresh start for a lot of things. Even the Little Fingers, Little Toes is getting some new things done to it to hopefully get even more business. So enjoy your spring day, get out there and smell some of those spring flowers!! It will make you feel better... as long as it doesn't make you sneeze.
