Any new mother would love a blanket made by The Queen Bee.

We have been busy!!

We have been busy around the store today rearranging things and making more room in the boutique.

We are excited because we found out that we will have one of those big jumpers for the kids to play in on Saturday.    And Lisa was telling us today that she is a pro at face painting.   She has done face painting at many events and is really good at it.

We will be revealing our bath and body products by Denise on Saturday.   We will have many more scents and they will have a brand new look (labels designed by yours truly) And many candles that will be great for the holidays.    We will have gift sets of Denise's products that will make anyone on your list a wonderful Christmas gift. Oct25_025

Don't forget 20% of all sales that day will go to the family we will adopt for Christmas.

We can't wait to see you!!!!

It's A Party!!

O.k. everyone in town must mark your calendars. Next Saturday November 11th, from 2 to 4, we are celebrating our one year anniversary here at the little yellow house. Everyone has been so supportive and telling their friends about us. So we want to thank you. On Saturday November 11th we will be having a drawing for free Christmas cards and other free gifts. Lisa will be doing face painting for the kids and Anna will be doing small arts and crafts wit the kids.

Now here is the big thing. 20% of everything that is sold during that 2 hours will go to a family that LFLT is going to adopt for Christmas.

Adopting a family for Christmas is something I have wanted to do for a long time. When I was around 12 years old my youth group adopted a family for Christmas. We picked out the gifts and wrapped the presents. I didn't think much of it until we delivered the presents. Our whole group rode together to the house on Christmas Eve. When we got there I was in shock. This house looked like a shack with a roof that looked like it could fall through in the next rain storm. The yard was a mud pit and the children were running around with no coat. The inside of the house was pretty much empty with concrete floors and a heater in the big room of this two room house. These poor children had nothing. I will never forget the look on their faces when we gave them the presents. They were so excited.

Most Christmases when I see how many presents we have opened, the wrapping paper is thrown all over the house, and the kids are playing with more toys than they really know what to with, I think about that family that had nothing. I think about all the other kids out there that Santa doesn't visit. It is not the kids fault they don't have anything.

So this year Little Fingers, Little Toes is adopting a family. I hope we make a difference for someone this Christmas.
