What I have been up to...
A couple of weeks ago I went to an arts and craft fair to help my friends with their art booth. Dee and I bought some fudge. I bought the Pumpkin pie fudge. Now pumpkin pie fudge sounds a little strange to most people. But let me tell you it is the greatest stuff since peanut butter. I only got a small amount of the pumpkin pie fudge at the fair and I really needed more. So I got on line and found a recipe. I have never made fudge before so
I really didn't know how it would turn out.
O.K. so it turned out pretty good and I couldn't get enough. So I gave a lot of it away and got everyone I gave it to hooked.
Yummm Pumpkin Pie Fudge!!!
In my 20's I used to knit. I knitted all the time and loved it. I stopped knitting when I started teaching around 10 years ago because I really just didn't have time. My friend Dianne has been trying to get me to pick up my old knitting needles again but I have stayed away until recently... Thanks to The Knaughty Knitter and Dianne I did pick up those knitting needles. Now I can't put them down! I remember now how great knitting was. But the problem is I can't get anything else done. I need to be designing new cards... writing on the blog... Making changes to the website... but I want to knit. So far I have knitted two stuffed animals and two baby hats. :)
Here is the bunny

Camille lost another tooth. One day she came home and her tooth was so loose it was pretty much hanging from her gum.
So she played with it..
Ate an apple and with every bite hoping the tooth would come out
Then we were sitting on the couch and I asked her if I could just feel how loose it was. With this extremely dramatic scream "No! You will pull it out and it will hurt!! Pllleeeeease don't pull it!" I told her I just wanted to feel how loose it was and that she should trust me. So I pinched the tooth with my fingers and she pulled back. "You were going to pull it I just know it!!! " And she turned around and started watching T.V. I nudged Brian to show him that I had the tooth in my fingers and Camille was still watching T.V. About two minutes later Camille turned to me and started screaming "Where is my tooth!? It is gone ! " I started laughing and showed her the tooth in my hand. Her face was priceless and she was stunned that she didn't feel me pull the tooth. She and I both started laughing.
The tooth fairy came for her second visit that night.
Griffin is just one big ball of always energy in motion. It is amazing how he can continue without stopping. He is either talking, jumping, running, climbing asking questions, turning flips, laughing and finally when he does stop and goes to sleep he is an angel of love. Was I like this as a child?
So that is it in a nutshell of what all I have been up to... lately. Those of you that want Christmas cards need to start thinking about what you want this year! Christmas will be here before you know it!!!!
